It's great to see you here! Are you ready for an exciting year of learning and discoveries? I sure am! You'll notice that this web page is written in English. That is because there are some parents that cannot understand French. Even though you are comfortable with the language, I think it is best to keep this site in English in order to ensure that everyone understands! :)
So it is back to school. I hope you are ready. Make sure you ask any and all questions you have about the new school to either Mrs. Pignon or myself. We will make it easy for you to find your way around.

IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER:
We have started our weekly walks! Every Friday (weather permitting), grade 6 students will be walking the Settler's trail from approx. 2:30 to 3:00. What a great way to enjoy the wonderful fall colours and get fit at the same time.
Big Brothers/Big Sisters will be starting Game on for Boys and Go girls. Our first session is October 16 and will continue until November 13.
October 17 and October 19: curling for grade 6A Lachance. Please watch for permission forms. Students will need a CSA approved hockey helmet.
October 24 and October 26: curling for Grade 6B Pignon. Please watch for permission forms. Students will need to wear a CSA approved hockey helmet.
On the afternoon of Oct. 26, the school will celebrate its official grand opening. Students are asked to wear their dragon t-shirts on that day.
October 27 is the first PA day of the school year.
October 30 is picture retake day.
November 15 is WE Day. Mrs. Pignon and I have chosen 18 students to accompany me to the CTC for a full day of motivational speakers and performances encouraging all of us to go from Me to We.
